Here are pictures from our annual early-spring ride to El Sombrero; an authentic Mexican eatery and store in Avondale, PA. Sal and Andi lead us there once a year so that Sal can get yellow chili peppers. Would you believe that there were no peppers to be had this year?!?! At least we ate well.
We assembled at the Wawa on Rts 73 and 113. There were 13 of us on ten bikes. Here is Sal handing out instructions and directions.
Bobbie and Scott brought their daughter Chelsea.
Bundled up under all that leather is our First Lady Melissa.
Check out Flo's new doo!! What a babe!!
Halfway through the ride we stopped at Burger King.
This is why I never leave home without my camera.
Bobbie asked Melissa, "You have fun anywhere, don't you?"
It's hard to have a serious conversation when Bob's around, the crown makes it even harder.
The gals crown Bobbie as their Queen.
The Queen and the Princess.
We arrive at our destination!
It was a little chilly, but still pleasant enough to eat outside.
Bruce Houser would starve at this restaurant as it serves only truly authentic Mexican food. Not one grilled steak or baked potato to be found.
Shot of both tables - I caught Bobbie in mid-burrito.
