Here you can see pictures taken during the Long Rides that follow the chapter meetings each month.
Long Ride for August 2006, we're getting ready to roll!!
Gary and Gail McGinty led about 45 members on 37 bikes up to Port Jervis, NY.
It was an absolutely stunning day, weather-wise.
Gary chose some amazing roads that we mostly had to ourselves.
Linda Houser, manning the Action Cam, takes pictures of riders en route.
Riding through Easton, PA on Rt. 611.
Free bridge to Phillipsburg, NJ.
I'm not sure why, but I guess Linda was interested enough in what these guys were doing to take a picture.
Look at all of us!! Gary and Gail did a great job keeping us all together.
The Delaware River, I think.
Road signs to prove we were there.
Isn't this a great shot? I love the American flag in the background.
Linda has a way of capturing the moment. If it weren't for Bruce's windshield, and the fact that the flagpole looks like it's coming out of the top of Bob's head, this picture would be worthy of HOG Tales!!!
Did I mention the spectacular scenery??
"Turn around, you're scaring me!"
Our first pit stop. There were no super-sized mini-marts out here!
Bruce and Don discuss matters.
Joanne and Arlene get caught up.
Mary tells Flo, "Well, my husband's orange Harley shirt is cooler than your husband's orange Harley shirt!!"
It took a while for us all to get gas, but Gary had warned us about that.
Bob Lohman later remarked that this was The Ride of the Year for the club - it was that good!!!
So whose moustache is darker, Jane's or Bill's? At least Jane's will wash off!
The McGinty clan hangs out after filling up.
More people fill up and wait for the rest.
Gary and Gail chose the Port Jervis Diner for lunch.
That diner handled our entire crowd - we were all seated right away.
We were served amazingly quickly...
...and the food was really, really good.
Prices were reasonable too. Especially for me, as the Quigley's bought my lunch!!
Here's Bunny informing Ruthie and Dan that they are buying lunch. It's easy to be brave when your husband's as big as Jack.
Bad-Bad-Biker-Bobbie and his 07 Baby-Blue Bike!!!
It's a sad day when Jane has to wait for Bob to get out of the Ladies Room!!!
Road Captain Jack Winn leads the Long Ride for May. Here we are at our first comfort stop.
Everyone takes their comfort.
Fran takes John's comfort.
Quick jump to lunch at the Quarryville Restaurant. Jack and Bill "Biker Face" Bradley share a table.
The food was good and really quick.
Another table of IV HOGgers.
Big John looks really comfortable with that burger!!
More chapter members chowing down.
After lunch, we stopped for ice cream. That's what makes these rides so long, we keep stopping for food!!
Future biker and his grandpa.
